*** Bio   Father & Son Vibes ( Bio Semi-Edited Version ) -  Unity Through  Music.  I apologize in advance for any errors......lol.  

**** Father & Son Vibes - Unity Through Music is a Musical Bond Between a Father and his Son.  We like to share our journey as we do our best to spread Unity in the World.  

My Son Devin is my Best Friend, Best Man & my #1 Inspiration.   Here is a  ( Short version of our story )....  In 1996 my world changed with the Birth of My Little Boy, he was and still is the greatest gift ever given to me, I can literally write forever on this, so we will do our best to keep it short.  ( After the fact ), Oops, I guess it still looks a little long...lol

I want to start by saying how much my son and I greatly appreciate all of the love and support  that we have received from everyone, it means the world and we wish everyone the very best.

* Bio-Ish *

We are originally from Los Angeles County California and when Devin was about a week old he had a severe medical issue and ended up being rushed to Loma Linda University Hospital by helicopter for almost 6 month.  That was the longest 6 months of our lives.  He literally passed away 3 times the first night and they told us there was a slim chance that would live through the night, which was by far the hardest thing my ears have ever heard in my life. I felt like my heart was yanked out of my chest and that someone popped my lungs like balloons and didn't want me to breath.  He ended up being a true miracle baby that beat all of the odds, thank God !!    

*** ( I will expand on the early years and his diagnosis a little more in the future), I am just writing this off the top for now.

Thank God for Miracles because 27 years later here we are.   Mr Devin is the most loving and caring person on Earth and boy does he love his Music in a Very Special Way.

He listened, sang and scatted along with music all his life.  He also learning all of his numbers, colors and etc through music so it really became a special part of his life.

In 2007 he was introduced to the Circle of friends in Maize, KS when we went and saw their very first variety show, which was awesome to see.  Our cousin Annisa sang a solo which was beautiful and it was so awesome to see typical kids and special kids come together to create and amazing show.

This was such a blessing because it was one of very few Musical Theatre Groups for Special Needs in the country.  

In 2008 Devin Jumped in the mix and was ready to go, he had just turned 11 or 12 and now he could be in it.  I will elaborate on this more in the future as well, but lets just say that a few years later it became  The Laughing feet Performers so kids could start at 10 and wouldn't age out at 18, which is awesome, we have had performers in their 50's and 60's perform together.   Devin's love for music really blossomed and he started auditioning for solos, which we learned was his gift, he love the stage and the more people go crazy the more he gets into it and lets the music take over.

We learned how much DEVIN really loves to PERFORM !!   He has performed in front of a few thousand people and loved every minute of it...

My Wife / Best friend retired after 40 years in retail and loves to sew, so we have been having fun doing vendor events for many years now, she is really a great creative sewer and we just always loved to tagging along with her.

Devin and I love to go with her and help in any way that we can and slowly over the years we started thinking it might be fun to start our own little thing since we are there already, hmmm, Wow-lah here we are today...lol.    

We really wanted to Spread * Unity Through Music and Positive Vibes with as many people as possible so we figured, lets create something fun that we could do together. 

By creating Father & Son Vibes - Unity Through Music would allow us to meet & Supporting Local artist in any way that we can.

Unity Through Music is kind of a Movement of helping to Unite People through Music and hopefully spreading some positive energy around the world. 

We have met a lot of really awesome people that share in our mindset and our love for music.

Devin really loves to help with anything that he can, so we have fun coming up with different ways that he can help out.  He loves it and gets excited to help others whenever he can.  

Devin really helped bring me back to loving music as much as I didn when I was young.

We (F.A.S.V-U.T.M) are crawling and are taking baby steps, which gets more and more fun with every step and each passing day.  Devin loves to learn so why not work on his Community Transition Skills and Supportive Employment Skills along the way. 

It is pretty simple, If Devin is Happy and Having Fun, so are we.

Devin loves people and is one of the most polite young men there is so it is really pretty special to see how he brings peoples to life and somehow makes everyone smile.  

We are 100 % truly Blessed, Thank you for being you Devin...

*** We will slowly add Shirts and other Merchandise with Positive Messaging on them, but I believe in quality and would rather take our time and do it right. Anyone can make anything fast, we can to, but I worked in different types of printing over the years, so quality is something we are definitely going to strive for.      We want to use our Creativity and our Hearts to create some awesome stuff and that will make people feel good when they are wearing it or using it.

Here is a little backstory so it makes a little sense.......Hopefully.

Short version ** I ( Dad ) grew up in LA County in and around Music & Entertainment in a lot of different ways, from Record Dealer Parents ( 70s & 80s ) to running with and around DJ Crews and Bands in the 80s & 90s....So I loved a very diverse range music from a young age.    Most of my Immediate family has always been very Musical & Artistic, so it is awesome that it found Devin and Connected to His Heart & His Soul in the beautiful way that it has.

Good or bad, I take in a broad range of content and always love to learn new things and be inspired along the way if at all possible.  I connect to things in different ways and even more so when they organically find us. In the last 5 years we have been inspired by several Amazing Special Needs Families that are doing some awesome things to spread love, Positivity, Unity, Inclusion & Much More....***I will list them down at the bottom, please so look these people up and show your love and support, they are awesome and are helping to make the world a better place.

Mr Devin has always connected with Music from the time he was little, bopping his head to the beat in the car and as he got older it got more and more apparent.  He learned most of his academics through Music, Numbers, Colors, Etc...., which I thought was Awesome right off the bat. Our Middle Son was in Marching band and had field shows every weekend and Devin would memorize the whole field show and hum along.

Over the years being in his group and listening to alot of different music with me and going to see alot of awesome local artist live, here we are.

We have been blessed to have become friends with a lot of Artist here in Wichita and Its all Love. We try to help anywhere that we can, Networking, Supporting, Sharing Ideas, etc....

We Love to see everyone succeed, so we are having fun doing what we do.
